When you connect your Google account to Social Autopilot, we may access the following Google data:
We access your Google Drive solely to allow you to browse your folders and select image or video files for use in social media posts. We read file names and metadata to display them in the file picker. Once you select a file, it is downloaded once for processing (AI caption generation) and then uploaded to the relevant social media platform. We do not store, modify, move, or delete any files in your Google Drive. No Drive data is shared with third parties.
We create calendar events in your Google Calendar to represent your scheduled social media posts, so you can visualise your posting schedule alongside your existing commitments. Each event is created only when you schedule a post. We do not read, modify, or delete any pre-existing calendar events. No calendar data is stored on our servers beyond what is needed to create the event.
Google user data (Drive files and Calendar events) is used in real time and is not retained on our servers after processing is complete. Account connection tokens are stored securely and deleted when you disconnect your Google account.
Social Autopilot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
